If the bar code starts from :
690 or 691 or 692
they are from China
If the bar code starts from :
471
they are from Taiwan
Please be aware that the Melamine case is expanding, not only some of the mike contains Melamine, even some candy and chocolate are no good to eat now…
even melamine is use in ham and hamburgers or some vegetarian food.
Please do beware at this moment for your own health.

Actually melamine is more dangerous to kids rather than to adults. It will have the same effect but the same amount of melamine will cause more damage to a kid compared to an adult. As long as the melamine level is low, it will not cause a lot of harm to an adult. But it is still good to avoid it when you know it contains melamine.
FYI the code that you are mentioning only represent the country that issues the code, but NOT necessarily representing the country that produces the goods.. so still, it's not 100% correct to base on that code to find out whether it's made in china..
